The SAMS Europe took place for the 9th time on September 28 – 29, 2020 and presented a fully packed program comprising of keynotes, case studies, streams, interactive World Café, Challenge Your Peers sessions, Audit Debates as well as a start-up pitch lounge. The event conference on Software Asset Management & IT Procurement is Europe’s leading knowledge exchange platform bringing together SAM specialists to IT procurement strategists, from SLM experts to IT Service Managers.
For this year’s SAMS Europe, we received tremendous feedback and inspiring award applications. Presented by we.CONECT moderated by Claudiu Hurban (we.CONECT Global Leaders) the award took place on Monday, September 28, 2020.
Our jury members have evaluated all the applications and nominated the three best projects. For this year’s edition, all nominees presented their SAM project via a short video and a live pitch digitally through the event platform. Both, onsite and online attendees of the award ceremony could choose their favorite project via live voting, determining which projects wins first place.
Proud winner of the SAMS Europe Award 2020 is Türk Telekom with their “Software Asset Management System”. Runner-up in is Boehringer Ingelheim with their project “SAP License Management” followed by Fiducia & GAD IT AG. All SAMS award winners received an exclusive trophy and certificate as a recognition for their outstanding performance.
